US Premium Rewards MasterCard recognized as best in class

BMO’s U.S. Premium Rewards MasterCard has been recognized by money.com as one of the Best New Credit Cards of 2025. The card, which relaunched in August 2024 with an enhanced offering, was recognized as the best card for grocery rewards – a key market segment as consumers are grappling with rising supermarket prices.  

What sets us apart from the competition?  

The BMO Premium Rewards Mastercard is designed to meet the everyday spending needs of customers and help them make real financial progress: 

  • Rewards for everyday spend: 4x on gas, electric vehicle charging, groceries, and dining – up to $2,000 in combined spend each calendar quarter.   
  • Travel rewards: 2x on hotels and airfare – up to $2,000 in combined spend each calendar quarter.  
  • Points accumulation: Customers will also earn 1x on all other purchases.  
  • Anniversary bonus: 10% anniversary bonus points every year based on net purchases made in the year prior from the customer’s anniversary date.  
  • Mastercard offers: Access to offers and benefits including discounts on streaming services, ride sharing, grocery delivery, travel services and more.
