Nominations are open to celebrate Black tech excellence with the Obsidi® Awards, presented by BMO

For the second year in a row, BMO is presenting the Black Professionals in Tech Network (BPTN) Obsidi® Awards. The only initiative of its kind in Canada, these awards spotlight exceptionally accomplished Black tech professionals, Black-led organizations, and allies making strides in the industry.  

With more than 90,000 members, BPTN is North America’s largest Black community of tech professionals. BPTN bridges the network gap in the tech industry by providing Black technical and business professionals with senior executive sponsorship, skills building and a strong peer network to level up their careers. Obsidi® is their tech job board and networking platform for professionals looking to find jobs and connect with employers of choice.

Anyone can submit a self-nomination via Obsidi®.com/awards by Friday, March 1, 2024, at 11:59 PM Eastern Time. Then, Obsidi® members can vote for their top choice in each category, narrowing the selections from 10 nominees to five finalists. Winners will be announced at the Liberty Grand on June 20, 2024 with an evening of great food and music.
