BMO backs North American small businesses at Summerfest
This summer, BMO continues to support small businesses in the U.S. in partnership with Summerfest. Through the BMO EMpower 2.0 grant program, we’re giving six minority-owned small businesses the opportunity to be a featured marketplace vendor during Summerfest in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Summerfest, “the World’s Largest Music Festival,” offers 12 stages of live music, immersive experiences, local food favorites and over 100 marketplace vendors for three weekends starting June 22.
The 2023 BMO EMpower Summerfest vendors include: Golden Reign, Scents & Such, Philomena & Ruth, Keepnitmil, Kalina & Co. Jewelry and WisconsinUp. Launched in 2021, the BMO EMpower 2.0 grant program provides minority-owned small business recipients with a financial grant and an opportunity to meet with a BMO relationship manager to discuss their financial needs and explore various resources BMO can offer to support their business. The experience culminates in a community partner event hosted by BMO leaders where recipients engage in professional networking with local business community members and leaders.
Aligned with BMO’s Purpose to Boldly Grow the Good in business and life, the BMO EMpower 2.0 grant program is part of the more than $40 billion Community Benefits Plan addressing key barriers faced by minority businesses, communities and families in the United States.
