Revitalizing Bronzeville: growing resilient Black small businesses
Since the 1920s, Chicago’s historic Bronzeville neighborhood has been a hub of Black culture and commerce. Today, revitalization efforts are creating opportunities for entrepreneurs and championing economic growth.
Renowned for residents’ contributions to art, music and business, Bronzeville is experiencing a revival fueled by organizations like the Chicago Urban League. Community leaders and businesses including Bronzeville Winery and Greenwood Inc. are working to infuse new energy and investment into the area.
At BMO, we recognize the importance of investing in the communities we serve to build a more equitable society.
