Four BMO Executives named to Crain’s 2021 Notable Black Leaders and Executives List
Four BMO leaders were recently recognized by Crain’s Chicago Business as part of the publication’s 2021 Notable Black Leaders and Executives list. This list recognizes Black leaders in the Chicago area who have demonstrated the ability to advance their industries, places of work and communities.
BMO’s honorees are Darrel Hackett, President, BMO Wealth Management U.S., Tracie Morris, U.S. Chief Human Resources Officer and Chief Inclusion Officer, BMO Financial Group, Eric Smith, Vice Chairman, BMO Harris Bank and Ann Marie Wright, U.S. Chief Risk Officer, BMO Financial Group. With four leaders included, BMO not only has the most honorees from a banking perspective, but also has the most honorees from any single company or institution.
In addition to their professional leadership, each honoree must be an active participant in Chicago’s Black community by working to provide opportunities for mentorship, education, training, jobs and entrepreneurship. Each nominee’s efforts to break down barriers and advance positive change for issues that disproportionately impact the Black community were also considered.
An advertisement (PDF) congratulating BMO’s four honorees will run in the next print issue of Crain’s. The ad also honors all of BMO’s nominees for this list, including Leslie Anderson, Global Head of Employee Tech Experience and U.S. Chief Technology, Resiliency and Experiences Operations Officer, Wallace Harris, Head, BMO Investments Services and Bernard Narine, Regional President, Chicago Metro South, Head of Retail Banking.
Congratulations to each of BMO’s honorees and nominees!
