American Banker names Team BMO “Most Powerful Women in Banking & Finance” for 10th consecutive year
For an unprecedented 10th year in a row, American Banker magazine has named BMO’s team of female leaders the “Most Powerful Women in Banking and Finance,” recognizing them for their professional achievements and their impact on the banking and financial services industry.
To top off a decade of wins, this year, Ernie Johannson, Group Head, North American Personal and U.S. Business Banking, has been ranked #19 on American Banker’s Most Powerful Women in Banking list and Sharon Haward-Laird, Head, North American Treasury, Payments & Solutions, is #13 on the publication’s 25 Women to Watch list.
These awards don’t just speak to the talent of BMO’s female leaders; they are meaningful because we recognize the power that having a diverse workforce brings to our organization, our customers and the communities we serve. We’ve worked hard to create a vision for our company based on increasing female representation in our senior leadership ranks, in our talent pipeline and across the entire organization.
